Digitisation of LST: Start of implementation
The nationwide implementation of ETCS in Germany is picking up speed. Politicians, infrastructure operators and industry are working hard to prepare for the roll-out. But this also brings other questions into focus: How can upward compatibility be ensured? How can European harmonisation be achieved? And what will the transition from ETCS to automated driving look like?
These are the questions that the International Signal+Wire Congress, which is taking place for the 20th time this year, will be addressing in its tried and tested manner both current developments and future questions of LST. The European and political perspectives will be at the beginning of the agenda, followed by the ETCS targets and implementation strategies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On the second day, a large number of current project topics relating to the ETCS rollout will be examined, before a look at scientific activities will round off the congress.
Once again, an industry personality will be awarded the Signal+Draht Lifetime Achievement Award. In addition, there will be sufficient space for the exchange of ideas between the participants and the speakers and among each other - and the round birthday will be honoured.
The regular registration for the 20th Signal+Wire Congress is unfortunately already closed.
The tickets for the attendance event are fully booked.
